What an exciting week it's been here in Nevada. With the elections looming a month away, and Sarah Palin's first national debate, the blogs are alive and the birds are chirping. And President Bush just signed the "crap sandwich" bail-out bill.
During the week, of the DOW porposing like Flipper on steroids, the bailout discourse and the nation trying to hold it together, a little noticed event held my attention.
Harry Reid opened his mouth yet again and the senate majority leader, showed his "leadership" by announcing an unnamed major insurance was about to declare bankruptcy.
The very next day, every major insurance company took a hit on Wall street, (One dropped 17% 32% !) costing the industry a huge loss, Harry with blithly on voting for and encouraging his fellow senators and congressmen to vote for the worst piece of thievery ever foisted on the United States and it's citizens.
I for one can no longer tolerate Harry Reid as my Senator. (My actual feelings tend toward a rope and a lampost) but I'll settle for him out of the U.S. Congress.'Gloom and Doom' Harry is no longer the answer that my home-state is looking for in representation and I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to stand for it anymore.
He is up for re-election in 2010 and I intend this to be his last two years in office.
More to follow, but feel free to post comments as I plan his emminent demise.
